Hastelloy B-2 and B-3 are nickel-based alloys that belong to the Hastelloy alloy family and have excellent corrosion resistance. Hastelloy B-2:

Hastelloy B-3:

Applications: Suitable for similar areas as B-2, but B-3 may be preferred in some applications due to its improved processability.

Both alloys have very good mechanical properties, such as strength and toughness, as well as stability at high temperatures. Slip-On Weld Neck Flange (also known as Slip-On Weld Neck Flange) is a commonly used pipe connection element that combines the characteristics of slip-on flanges and neck flanges. When using loose collar flanges, you need to pay attention to the following aspects:

• Maintenance and inspection: Regularly inspect flange joints, especially gaskets and bolts, to ensure they are in good condition. For flanges used in harsh environments or under high temperatures and pressures, more frequent inspections and maintenance may be required.
• Operating conditions: Ensure flanges and their connecting systems are suitable for expected operating conditions, including temperatures, pressures, media and potential corrosion risks.
• Compliance: Follow relevant industry standards and specifications such as ASME, API, DIN, etc. to ensure that flange selection, installation and maintenance comply with safety requirements and regulations.

Due to its structure and installation characteristics, the necked loose-threaded flange is suitable for some specific applications, but special attention needs to be paid to the above matters when using it to ensure the safety and reliability of the connection.
