About the BEP
In the GE LOGIQ E9 ultrasonic diagnostic system, the BEP back-end
processor is one of the core components of the entire machine. It
is responsible for controlling and coordinating the work of various
parts of the host. The BEP back-end processor is loaded with an
operating system (such as Windows XP or other newer operating
systems) and corresponding applications. It analyzes and calculates
the signals sent from the front-end to form a video signal and
output it to the monitor, ultimately presenting what we see.
Ultrasound images.
About the small power strip
1) Electricity supply:
The small power strip is most likely a component inside or near the
BEP back-end processor and is responsible for providing a stable
power supply to the BEP. This power strip may convert the incoming
power into the voltage and current required by the BEP to ensure
that the BEP can work properly.
2) Power management:
In addition to basic power supply functions, small power strips may
also have power management functions, such as overcurrent
protection, overvoltage protection, short circuit protection, etc.,
to ensure the safe operation of BEP.
3) Modular design:
In order to facilitate maintenance and upgrades, the power system
of GE LOGIQ E9 may adopt a modular design. As one of the modules,
the small power strip can be replaced or repaired independently,
thereby improving the maintainability of the equipment.

About the LOGIQ E9
As one of the world's leading ultrasound diagnostic equipment, GE
LOGIQ E9 fuses ultrasound images with images from other imaging
technologies such as CT and MR to provide extraordinary image
quality. With tools such as Volume Navigation and Sensitive
Ultrasound, it greatly improves workflow and diagnostic confidence.
The device integrates a number of innovative technologies,
including "fusion" technology and "GPS-like" technology, to achieve
high-precision and efficient diagnosis during ultrasound
examination.
Key technical features
1) Image fusion technology:
Combining real-time ultrasound imaging with the high-contrast
resolution capabilities of CT, MR or PET provides more realistic
images.
2) GPS-like technology:
Track anatomical locations during ultrasound examinations to
increase the efficiency of diagnostic and interventional studies.
3) Sensitive ultrasound:
Provide more accurate measurement data through the interaction of
sound waves in different tissue types of the body, replacing
traditional ultrasound machines with the advantages of new, modular
mathematical modeling.
4) High Definition Speckle Reduction (SRI-HD):
Improve image quality and make images clearer.
Coded contrast agent harmonic imaging technology (Coded Contrast):
Based on GE's unique digital encoding and decoding technology, it
amplifies weak blood flow and contrast agent harmonic signals to
improve image penetration and contrast resolution.
5) Real-time 4D imaging technology (Real Time 4D):
The volume probe surface imaging mode can be used to perform
real-time three-dimensional and four-dimensional imaging of the
fetal body surface structure, which can help discover some
physiological variations and malformations of the fetus.
Application areas
GE LOGIQ E9 is widely used in multiple clinical fields, including
but not limited to:
1)Abdominal examination:
Suitable for examination of liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen,
kidney, ureter, bladder and other organs.
2) Heart test:
Provides clear images of cardiac structures to evaluate cardiac
pump function and diastolic function.
3) Vascular examination:
Understand the blood flow of major blood vessels throughout the
body and the presence of plaque formation to assist in the clinical
diagnosis of vascular diseases.
4) Obstetric and gynecological examination:
Used for obstetrics and gynecology examinations such as uterus,
appendages, and fetuses.
5) Superficial tissue and small organ examination:
Suitable for examination of small organs such as breast, thyroid,
submandibular gland, parotid gland, superficial lymph nodes, etc.
6) Neurological, musculoskeletal, and joint examination:
Suitable for examination of nerve injuries, tumor lesions, muscle
injuries, micro fractures, joint lesions, etc.
