Description:

The bitumen transportation truck is to transport the bitumen, asphalt. The bitumen tank trailer is a double layer steel tank with insulation material to keep temperature and a burner to provide heating to the tank. Since the bitumen is in the state of liquid after heating, and it turns into solid if it keeps normal temperature. So it needs a burner to work on it.

The heating system consists of the burner and the heating tubes inside the tank. There is diesel type burner, electronic burner and coal burner. The tubes are fixed inside the tank with high temperature to keep the bitumen warm.

The tank is 2 layer structure, inside tank is carbon steel one or tubeless one, out side is a steel sheet. Between the 2 layers, there is insulation material. There are different types of insulation material with different cost, like fiber glass, polyurethane.
