Architectural Mesh

Architectural mesh can be used for both aesthetic or practical purposes. Mesh facades are very often described as “woven mesh”, however knitted wire mesh could also be used for this purpose, offering a pleasing aesthetic without taking away from the overall look of a building.

Knitted wire mesh is also great for practical purposes, such as protecting insecure areas of a building or catching falling material.

There are many advantages to opting to use knitted wire as opposed to woven mesh. Knitted wire is extremely lightweight and flexible, making it an ideal material to work with. Despite its delicate appearance, it is capable of holding up to 250kg of weight.

Different wire diameters
Knitted wire architectural mesh can be knit from a number of different wire diameters, from as little as 0.11mm – 0.35mm, and can be manufactured as a single or a multi-knit. All of these factors will be dependent upon your requirements and the outcome that you are looking to achieve.
